Stars: 5

The generation that endured the depression and a horrible world war is already inspiring but this story is so much more inspiring to me. These men depict a type of human being I rarely meet in life. Brown's writing style is masterful. I was on the edge of my seat as I read each race.

This was such a great book. I am so glad one of my book clubs decided to read this book. It has made me realize it is okay to work hard and not win but I can never win if I never try. And it is okay to rely on my team.
